Transform your home for the holidays with these creative photo frame decorating ideas!
I love decorating for the holidays. Fall and Ciristmas are my favorites. Along with the usual décor, wreaths on the door, garland and seasonal colors everywhere, I have a collection of frames that I put holiday pictures in. I use photos that I have taken myself, but If you are not a photographer, there are tons of printable art options online, from Christmas trees to watercolor snowflakes to fall leaves that you can print yourself or print at your local Walmart, Walgreens, CVS or online at Shutterfly. These can fit any frame and be updated yearly for variety.
There are so many advantages to decorating with photos.
They are a space saver. I do not have a lot of surface space so I use my walls to add to my holiday themes. You can customize the frame style, size and how many photos you want in a particular area to create exactly the look you want. Photos are usually inexpensive to print so you can change them often to reflect your mood.
Use framed photos with holiday-themed photos as a backdrop on shelves, bookcases, counters, and tables. Place mini frames on your dining table with holiday sayings to add charm to your tablescape. Arrange several frames around a candle or centerpiece, with holiday photos of family gatherings and winter scenes.
If you already have personal photos displayed, switch them with seasonal prints or holiday quotes. It’s a quick, low-cost way to make your décor feel holiday-ready. If you don’t already have frames you can find them at discount or thrift stores, usually at a really great price.
